The Ministry
Founder
Brother James Leo Brown
Sister Grace Brown
Born in Ferriday, Louisiana in 1959, Pastor James Leo Brown moved to Houma as a teen, where he met and married his wife, Grace Marie. Together they raised three children: Janita, James Jr., and Caleb.
On January 8, 1985, at age 25, Leo had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Convicted by the Holy Spirit, he surrendered his life, began reading the Bible with passion, and soon received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
For 17 years he faithfully studied God’s Word, until in 2002 the Lord called him to shepherd His people. Accepting that call, Pastor Brown committed his life to teaching, guiding, and feeding God’s flock as Jesus commanded: “Feed my sheep” (John 21:17).
His ministry is centered on sharing the Bread of Life freely (Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 55:1-2) and helping believers grow into the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). He counts it his greatest joy to serve the Lord by serving His people, echoing 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20: “For ye are our glory and joy!”

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
